Passport Music currently sells Encore 5. The new version is fully compatible with Win7, Win8 and OSX 10.6 and higher. You will be able to open your old Encore files in the new version of Encore.

INSTALLING THE UPGRADE 

Note: You do not need the old version of the software on the computer on which you install the upgrade. In fact, please make sure you save all song/data files to a separate directory or CD and then UNINSTALL/TRASH all previous versions of the software before installing the new. All files will auto-convert when opened in the new version.
